Our school zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria. Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at Orchard Grove Primary School. This is determined based on your permanent residential address. Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their local school. Students may enrol at another school if there are available places. Foundation (Prep) enrolments
All Victorian government primary schools follow the statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline. The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child at a Victorian government primary school. For more information about the enrolment timeline, visit: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep).
Other year level enrolments
We also accept enrolment applications for students in other year levels. You can submit a request at any time in the school year. Eligible students who live within our school zone are guaranteed a place, while students outside the zone may be enrolled if there are available places. Further information on enrolments
Our school has an enrolment restriction under section 2.2.16 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic). Our school will prioritise enrolments from:
- students who live within the school zone
- students with a sibling attending the school at the same time
- students seeking enrolment on compassionate grounds, in exceptional circumstances.
Depending on available places remaining, our school may be able to accept a limited number of out-of-zone enrolments according to next closest to the school. The department will review this enrolment restriction yearly and provide updated advice as necessary. Thanks, Andrew Moore
